Business Unit BAMG - Aiken ORR Management Level Individual Contributor Job Category Engineering & Science Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer like you to join our team in our Aiken ORR plant. In the Senior Electrical Engineer position you will research, develop, design, test, and implement/install electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. As a Senior Professional, the selected candidate will apply advanced knowledge of a the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Responsibilities Modify existing equipment for continuous improvement / automation activities determined by department CFT Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders Manage contractors and maintenance technicians to support projects Design, develop and oversee all aspects of electrical control systems in department Work with equipment designers and vendors by providing clear communication and technical specifications for requests Manage capital and expense budgets in-order to meet plant objectives Strong work ethic and self-starter Troubleshooting and programming PLC's Skills: Proficient with Allen Bradley PLC's remote IO, HMI's and programming thru associated Rockwell software Proficient in supporting production and maintenance thru modifications and troubleshooting of Allen Bradley PLC's Proficient with Allen Bradley variable frequency and servo drives thru programming and troubleshooting Proficient with industrial ethernet communication and machine network layout Proficient with equipment safety thru hardware design / component selection, equipment risk assessment process and arc flash requirements per NFPA 70E Minimum Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
