Industrial Mechanical Engineer
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas / Tulsa, Oklahoma / El Paso, Texas - Applicants must be willing to work in-office. Bath Group is not seeking to fill this position remotely at this time.
Bath Engineering is seeking a self-motivated Mechanical Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to assist our industrial and mechanical project teams in the design and implementation of refinery-based mechanical projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with engineering and design of mechanical projects in the Oil and Gas industry
Coordinate with disciplines internally and communicate well with engineers, contractors, and outside Clients
Respond to RFI's for the project and accurately review submittals
Conduct and attend site visits and prepare site reports
Meet with vendors to determine specification requirements for application
Perform field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects
Assist in preparation of cost estimates
Assist in creation of project schedules and resourcing
Project Manage and lead engineering projects, as required
All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
Professional Engineering License preferred, but not required
Project Management Experience
Knowledge in PSV sizing
Proficient in rotating equipment
Ability to read and interpret pump / compressor curves
Ability to size pumps and compressors
Familiar with API seal plans
Knowledge in industrial piping
Ability to run pipe stress analysis utilizing Caesar II Software
Ability to run pipe flow calculations
Knowledge in understanding and interpreting ASME Code for process piping and pressure vessels
Ability to run pressure vessel nozzle/re-pad calculations
AutoCAD experience preferred, but not required
Must be computer literate.
Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
