NC Punch Press Operator

Well established CNC Sheet Metal manufacturing firm located in San Jose and Phoenix AZ is seeking a full time NC Punch Press Operator in Phoenix AZ

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate an Amada EMK 3610NT Punch Press with loader in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. You must be familiar with shop safety practices, basic inspection of sheet metal parts and job order instructions. You will also need working knowledge of machine maintenance, including strict lock-out tag-out practices.

Job requirements include:
- Needs to have a good understanding of blueprints and material characteristics
- Proficient in using gauges and calipers as needed for product inspection
- Skilled at routine maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Open to learning other skills in the fabrication area
- Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to operate CNC equipment
- Do not apply unless you have at least three years experience operating a Amada EMK 3610NT Punch Press with loader
