Premier Lighting Manufacturer seeks qualified welder/fabricator.

We have an opportunity for a full-time experienced welder/fabricator to work in our ever-growing fabrication department.

Qualified applicants must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment where shifting priorities are commonplace. Candidates must possess mechanical aptitude, be able to read, interpret and set up projects from shop drawings, work independently, receive direction from supervisor, provide feedback on projects, exhibit good time management, prioritize projects and work well with others in a team environment.

As a premier lighting manufacturer, we work with various sheet metals, flattened cold rolled steel, bright basic round wire and dozens of other metal types to fabricate our custom lighting fixtures. From small scale to large scale and heavy duty to delicate, our lighting fixtures require fabricators who can adjust their talents based on the projects needs.

This position requires the use of the following tools and/or machinery:

-Butt Welder-Drill Press
-Spot Welder-Belt Grinder
-Hand Held Grinder-Stone Grinder
-Ring Roller-Metal Foot Shear
-Break-Notcher
-Mig/Tig Welding-Various other hand tools

Mon-Fri 8am to 4:30pm with some Saturdays and opportunity for overtime.
