Join Casey's Construction team as a Project Designer! As a Project Designer, you'll utilize design, modeling, and drafting programs to prepare layout drawings to support Casey's construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design detailed construction plans as required for the project or task assigned, utilizing drafting or modeling software.
  • Manage project status, information for reporting, external consultant teams, internal coordinated teams, and project schedule.
  • Maintain strong and open working relationships with construction team, estimating team, and Real Estate or M&A teams, as appropriate for the project.
  • Effectively utilize third party 3D scanning technology and deliverables to produce and verify accurate construction plans.
  • Work with local and state officials developing plans to meet their specifications, as appropriate.

Compensation:

Starting pay range: $54,300 - $71,300. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

  • Associates Degree in related field or equivalent work-related experience required.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience required.
  • Knowledge of State and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of architectural and engineering design and drafting via appropriate programs.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and permit requirements.
  • Skilled with AutoCAD design suite or Revit.
