Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs from concept through completion
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD and BIM software
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and feasibility
- Conduct site visits and oversee construction to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes
- Prepare presentations and renderings for client meetings and public hearings
- Research materials, building systems, and sustainability strategies
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed Architect or on track for licensure (preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for design excellence and sustainable practices
