Construction Superintendent

A Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing large-scale commercial construction projects, particularly within the healthcare, medical, institutional, or lab sectors. This role involves providing multi-level supervision across field operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing project schedules. The Superintendent plays a crucial role in project administration, ensuring safety compliance and tracking production in alignment with company standards and client expectations. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage complex logistics and mentor field personnel. Candidates should possess at least 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in general contracting, with ground-up commercial experience on projects ranging from $15-35M.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations on large-scale commercial construction projects.

• Proficiency in construction documentation and scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in healthcare, medical, institutional, or lab projects.

• Experience in commercial construction is advantageous.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and innovative practices like Lean2.0.

The work environment is dynamic and involves working for a long-established construction firm known for its strong safety culture. The company operates across 34 states, with a local office in Colorado that has been operational for 7 years. The Denver office is a brand new facility located near the Lincoln Station light rail and focuses on commercial construction projects, including a solar group. The team consists of approximately 55-60 people, with 12 Superintendents. The company provides a company truck and gas card, competitive PTO, 401k match, bonuses, and flex time every other week. The geographic focus includes Boulder, Golden, and surrounding areas, with upcoming projects in healthcare and other sectors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lone Tree, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
