Electrical / PLC Technician (Maintenance Technician)

Location: Elkhart, IN | Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (some overtime & call-outs)

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical / PLC Technician to join our Elkhart team. This role is primarily focused on hands-on electrical troubleshooting and maintenance in an established facility with olderbut reliableequipment. While most of the plant is not automated today, they are planning significant upgrades, and this position will play a key role in moving them forward.

What you'll do

Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment

Install and support equipment projects and upgrades

Troubleshoot and support PLCs (Allen Bradley CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and basic automation systems

Support robotics and automation programming as upgrades are introduced

What they're looking for

5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing

3+ years working with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)

Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Mechanical troubleshooting skills are a plus

Project management experience is a bonus (vendor coordination, upgrades)
