Maintenance Supervisor
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering. The role is responsible for supervision of the maintenance technicians across multiple shifts as well as the maintenance areas, processes and assignments. This role may be required to work off-shift and weekends as needed.

Essential Functions:
- Coordinate work schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure proper utilization of Blue Mountain Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement of planning and scheduling with the express focus of reducing reactive maintenance.
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist the F & E team in solving operational issues.
- Ensure all company and site maintenance policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Report appropriate maintenance work status to the VP Engineering, project team members and project management personnel.
- Ensure all facilities, utilities and / or equipment are handed over effectively to end users.
- Support the timely investigation and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Adheres to all applicable procedures, cGMPs, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements. (OSHA, DEA, FDA, EHS, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
- Conduct regular 1:1’s to address performance, feedback and relationship building.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and facilitate as able.
Experience and Necessary Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or commensurate experience required
- Six Sigma and Lean training, green or black belt preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment, aseptic filling preferred.
- 1 year of experience in supervising or leading in a cGMP FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment required. 3+ years preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
- Strong results orientation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, proficient in the use of spreadsheets and word processing programs
- Proficient written, verbal and oral English communication skills.
