A Day in the Life...
- Oversee the overall management and maintenance of the Lakeville office, ensuring it is safe, well-maintained, and complies with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement facility management for systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
- Manage vendor relationships, including janitorial services, security services, maintenance contractors, and facility service providers.
- Responsible for billing and budget management in partnership with the Office Manager
- Responsible for tracking and processing invoices and generating purchase orders to support procurement and financial operations.
- Oversee Facilities team
- Lead facility improvement and expansion projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs and oversee repairs and renovations as necessary.
- On-call every third week and may need to provide guidance for others on-call
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in facility management
- Strong knowledge of facility management principles, practices, and standards, including building systems, maintenance, and space planning
- Experience managing corporate facilities and systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental sustainability practices
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel for budget management and Teams for effective communication and coordination.
