Residential Journeyman Carpenter

We are a locally recognized general contractor specializing in high-end custom residential homes and remodels, and are looking for a dependable and proficient carpenter. Daily responsibilities include the following:

-Reading and interpreting architectural plans and structural drawings
-Working knowledge of other trades including site work, concrete, framing, finish carpentry, interior and exterior finishes, and MEP scopes.
-Planning, organizing, and executing a variety of carpentry related tasks as needed for the project
-Rough carpentry - shoring, light and structural framing, backing, blocking, shear wall installation, etc.
-Finish carpentry hanging doors, setting windows, installing cabinets, casings, base trim, wainscots, and crown mouldings
-Communicating and working with subcontractors and crews on-site
-Problem solving
-Good communication skills
