Job Description

This position involves planning, performing takeoffs, reconciling construction contractor costs, conducting Excel analysis, and developing Excel spreadsheets. The role requires a strong focus on cost engineering, with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform takeoffs to assess project requirements.
• Reconcile construction contractor's costs to ensure accurate budgeting.
• Conduct detailed Excel analysis for project cost management.
• Develop comprehensive Excel spreadsheets for cost tracking and reporting.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction and construction management.
• Proficiency in change order negotiation.
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP).
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background working with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based 100% in-office at Tallman Island in Queens, offering an opportunity to work closely with a Construction Management team. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
