RENU, LLC, of Carrollton, Texas is recruiting forSuperintendent

in multi-family construction and affordable housing for various unanticipatedlocation

s within the U.S., primarily OH, PA, and the East Coast, 65% travel.

DUTIES: The Superintendent will provide on-site coordination for all phases of renovation projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring the project specific plan, drawings and specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding safely, on schedule and within budget. On projects staffed with an Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent to ensure job site safety, quality control, and that daily coordination, scheduling of the work, and inspections are completed. Job responsibilities include: Assist in scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion; Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed; Communicate and insure coordination with ASI's, RFI's, addendums and material submittals; Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work; Identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress to the project team for resolution; Maintain daily log (written and photos) of activities on the jobsite; Periodically may fill in for Assistant Superintendent at multiple job sites simultaneously; Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team; Walk all units on project to monitor activities and assist in future planning; Assist with onsite weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate and communicate the work; Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner; Perform job progress and completion punch list walks with the client identifying and completing incomplete items; Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions; Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site; Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope; Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day; Turing over 8 to 10 units per week typically; 65% travel within the U.S., primarily Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the East Coast.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience as a superintendent in multi-family construction and affordable housing. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must have reliable transportation and be available for occasional weekend work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally manually lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Annualized salary of $89,500.
