Construction Laborer/ Cleaning Technician Pay $20-$23 p/hr Lenoir, NC Job Description We are seeking dedicated Construction Laborers and Cleaning Technicians for a large-scale project located in Lenoir, NC. This long-term project will span over two years, offering an excellent opportunity to work with one of the region's top construction companies. The role involves various general construction responsibilities including temporary structure setup, signage installation, construction cleanup, pressure washing, and other miscellaneous tasks as directed by site leadership. Responsibilities Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction project job sites. Review jobsite needs with superintendents to understand the scope of work per plans and specifications. Assist with jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, fencing, deck and platform building, protection systems, and construction waste management. Inventory supplies and provide supply orders for re-stocking. Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company standards. Understand and follow work instructions, project signage, and safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers. Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and adhere to safety protocols. Perform selected demolition and participate in subcontractor and supplier activities. Review project perimeter for security and cleanliness daily and participate in end-of-day clean-up activities. Perform fire watch duties and construct scaffolding as needed. Manage dumpster vendor schedule and maintain dumpster areas for cleanliness and organization. Act as spotter for heavy equipment operators and ensure security of equipment and work areas. Identify, communicate, and escalate problems and issues to supervisors for immediate resolution. Track production of completed tasks and assist other craft workers in their trades as directed. Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees. Perform other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned. Essential Skills Minimum of 6 months of construction experience. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Basic skills in carpentry and concrete work. Why Work Here?
