Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $65,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our boutique, family-oriented team. We value our employees and strive to provide a supportive and secure working environment.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of high-end custom homes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be involved in all phases of construction, from reading plans, assisting with scheduling, managing bids, writing subcontracts and purchase orders, to conducting buyouts. You will work closely with one of our partners, who handles budgeting, but you will be expected to contribute your expertise and insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7 years in residential construction, with a preference for candidates who also have commercial experience. Experience with projects in the $3-5M range is required; experience with higher-value projects is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the full construction process, including submittals, RFIs, and contract negotiations. Ability to read and interpret plans and manage project schedules.
  • Client Interaction: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of handling client interactions with professionalism and class. You should be able to navigate the balance of being assertive yet approachable.
