Job Description

***The Compensation range for this position is approximately $65,000 - $75,000 based on the candidates qualifications, experience, and education***

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assist in the performance of product development activities, which includes drawing board layout.
  • Assist in the interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.
  • Assist in the application of engineering principle knowledge to conduct routine analyses and/or tests pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials or processes.
  • Assist in conducting engineering studies.
  • Design, test, install and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering, design software and equipment to perform assignments as needed.
  • Apply the principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Fundamentals on electrical circuits, controls systems, power distribution and electrical motors.
  • Fundamentals on low voltage and power electronics, including inverter drives and compressor control system.
  • Fundamentals of Electrical wiring.
  • Knowledge and Fundamentals of Electrical circuit load calculations; power, capacity and ampacity: Wire gauge, Transformer, Fuse, Circuit breakers.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Experience with analytical and CAD software.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience trouble-shooting electromechanical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to travel approx. 10-15% of the year
