A leading General Contractor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager. They are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead and manage the construction of high-performance manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely, on-budget completion of projects, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, design, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of construction efforts.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction activities within an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage project budgets, negotiate contracts, and track expenditures.
- Implement risk management strategies to address project challenges and prevent delays.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, provide regular updates on project status and addressing concerns as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Provide leadership to a team of construction professionals, ensuring smooth operations across all phases of the project.
- Occasional Travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of [8] years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on automotive manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, codes, and best practices.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
