Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Project Manager to oversee new construction projects in Atlanta, with a specific focus on the buildout of facilities for data center clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and IT background , along with expertise in HVAC management. This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and forecast manpower and resource requirements.
• Coordinate projects in accordance with contract documents and approved sales estimates.
• Manage all document control for projects, including RFI's, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal logs, submittal logs, change order logs, and issues logs.
• Prepare project billing revenue forecasts and schedules of values.
• Review all estimates and change orders for accuracy and approve all team project submittals.
• Accountable for financial management on all assigned projects.
• Prepare installation subcontractor bidding documents and negotiate subcontracts.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents in accordance with quality policy.
• Prepare and update project schedules and cost estimates.
• Prepare and deliver final project documentation to the customer and collect payment.
• Responsible for all customer-facing communication.

• Minimum of 3 years in a Project Management Role.
• 5+ years in the controls industry.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Understanding of contracting procedures and tactics.
• Advanced understanding of HVAC control systems.
• Ability to analyze control system drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of contract law, codes, standards, and industry construction knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills, including team leading and empowering others.

• Related industry knowledge.

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $57.00/hr.
