Job Summary

Tetra Pak Business Stream Ice Cream (BSIC) develops and manufactures processing solutions, equipment, and fillers for customers in the ice cream industry worldwide. Our centers of excellence are located in Denmark, China, and India.

The BSIC facility in Chakan, Pune, focuses on designing and manufacturing processing solutions for the South Asia market, with a strong export presence.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our BSIC Operations Engineering team in India. In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical and automation hardware solutions tailored to diverse product types and customer requirements.

You will bring 4-5 years of experience in electrical/automation hardware engineering, including control panels, instrumentation, and cable sizing. Experience with both simple and complex processing units, as well as full process lines, is essential. A strong understanding of customer needs and the specific demands of the liquid food industry is highly valued.

What you will do

As our Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Design electrical and control systems based on customer specifications throughout the order process
  • Engineer and design electrical, instrumentation, and automation hardware
  • Participate in all phases of customer projects, including sales support, design, workshop testing, and commissioning support
  • Conduct machine testing at the production center
  • Collaborate with process and mechanical design teams to meet integrated project requirements
  • Prepare and release design documentation in accordance with corporate standards and timelines
  • Revise and update designs based on test results and feedback
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, cost estimates, and quality standards
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across geographies

We believe you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical and automation systems
  • Proficiency in testing and commissioning of process units; understanding of automation software is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery
  • Openness to learning and applying new technologies
