Design steel joists, joist girders and steel decking according to Steel Joist Institute and Steel Deck Institute standards. Skills and Requirements Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering ideally with emphasis in structures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Be an EIT and capable of pursuing PE licensure.
