Press Brake Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Press Brake Operator for a 1st Shift schedule, working four 10-hour shifts with an optional half-day on Fridays. You will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, shape, and form sheet metal and other materials according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of mechanical drawings and safety protocols. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and material requirements. Set up and operate the press brake machine to bend materials. Align and position materials accurately. Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers. Perform machine adjustments as necessary. Conduct routine maintenance of the machine. Essential Skills Experience with press brake machine setup and operation. Ability to interpret and work from blueprints. Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Strong mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in fabrication is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
