A mid-market SaaS company focused on customer experience and feedback insights is building out its AI capabilities to drive innovation across the platform. This role will be foundational in shaping data architecture and delivering AI-powered features that scale with the business. The company is open to remote candidates, with a slight preference for those based near Denver.

Job Description

As the AI Architect, you will be the key technical leader in transforming the platform into an AI-first customer experience solution. You'll design and implement scalable AI/ML solutions, drive the data strategy, and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams. The company is looking for someone who can both architect the foundational data infrastructure and bring AI initiatives to life through agentic, generative, and predictive systems.

Required Skills

7+ years in software leadership or architecture, with 5+ years in AI/ML-specific roles

Strong experience with data architecture, NLP, feedback analytics, and systems integration

Proven track record delivering production-grade AI systems (agentic, generative, predictive)

Proficient in Python, SQL, and cloud-native AI tooling (AWS preferred)

Familiar with modern data platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.

Hands-on with LLMs, vector databases, prompt engineering, and real-time data processing

Ability to build proof of concepts

Bonus Skills

Experience in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)

Familiarity with BI tools like ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or PowerBI

Knowledge of MLOps and infrastructure tooling (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform)

Exposure to graph databases and advanced database design

Experience mentoring teams and presenting technical roadmaps to stakeholders
