Saw Operator

Saw Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled saw operator to produce parts for agricultural and transportation products. You will work with blueprints, set up, and adjust sizes on saws to cut stock material. Additionally, you will occasionally operate CNC machines for repetitive parts and assist with loading and unloading materials in various parts of the fabrication department. Responsibilities Operate saws to cut stock material according to blueprints. Adjust and set up saw sizes for different projects. Float as a 'button pusher' CNC operator for repetitive parts. Assist with loading and unloading materials in the fabrication department. Make necessary adjustments on machines to ensure smooth operation. Essential Skills Experience in saw operation and production. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures. Familiarity with CNC operation and general labor tasks. Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in sheet metal. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating forklifts. Ability to work with sheet metal. Why Work Here? The shop operates with a sense of urgency, but maintains a calm and professional atmosphere. Work Environment Work in a newly expanded, well-maintained shop with approximately 40 employees across all shifts. Choose between working either a 6 AM to 4:30 PM shift or a 4:30 PM to 3 AM shift, Monday through Thursday, with Friday overtime opportunities. A $2/hour shift differential is available for night shifts. Initial training will be conducted on the day shift for 3 to 6 weeks, depending on individual progress. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, North Dakota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
