Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Join our team as a second shift Maintenance Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Initially, you will receive training on the first shift for about a month. This role involves predominantly preventative maintenance work, along with occasional repairs and facilities upkeep. You will be part of a team that oversees the production of various potato chip products, utilizing advanced automation technology. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Conduct on-the-fly repairs as needed to minimize downtime. Participate in facilities upkeep to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Collaborate with operators to monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of automated systems. Essential Skills Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Capability to lift up to 45 lbs. Proven ability to work independently. Possession of personal tools for maintenance tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with motors, pumps, and hoses. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:10 PM to 12:00 AM. The role is based in an industrial environment, which, while not a cleanroom, requires adherence to food safety standards, including wearing beard and hair nets. Be prepared for an environment filled with the aroma of our delicious products. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
