Cleanroom Production Operator Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Cleanroom Production Operator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. You will be responsible for operating machinery and maintaining high standards in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities Complete all necessary paperwork and inspect orders in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures. Make adjustments to all machine parts and equipment as needed. Check for the correct copy of the label order using a computerized vision system. Set up finishing machines, including web tensions and ink jet systems, either by hand or automatically. Splice out any inferior printed material to ensure quality. Verify that all customer specifications for finishing are adhered to. Pack finished reels onto carts and apply all required identification labels. Communicate with the supervisor regarding any quality issues. Complete a daily log of all inspected orders. Essential Skills Experience in production and machine operation. Exposure to assembly line work. Paper, pharmaceutical, or food and beverage industries preferred. General labor, packaging, and inspection skills. Experience with hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications One to two years of experience working in an operator capacity within a manufacturing site, with a strong preference for the paper/printing or similar industries. Ability to read and interpret work orders. Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator. Capability to read and interpret manuals and company procedures (SOPs). Basic technical knowledge, including troubleshooting and operation of machines. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Why Work Here? Work Environment Our production floor is expanding and aims to grow to a team of 103 people. There are currently four openings, all positions on the 2nd shift (4:20 PM - 2:40 AM, Monday to Thursday). Rare weekend work may be required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blauvelt, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
