un Tile Stone Contractor Assistant Project Manager - Immediate Hire (Astoria,Long Island City) compensation: DOE employment type: experience level: entry level job title: JR Project Manager - Natural Stone Contractor A leading Marble & Stone installation and fabrication company is looking for a JR Project Manager to join our team and work closely under one of our experienced PMs. Responsibilities: - Prepare project samples and drawings for electronic and physical submittals and/or transmittals; - Responsible to keep up to date and coordinate project drawings, files, meeting notes and internal project performance forms; - Basic Drafting Experience (Auto-cad) combined with the ability to learn to draw or adjust basic stone cut tickets and sketches/details - Review & comprehend AIA contracts, project specific scope of work, and architectural specifications; - Review, interpret and coordinate: Architectural drawings, Shop drawings and more specifically Stone Shop Drawings , Basic engineering calculations and field reports - Be the liaison of the PM for every day to day project specific function Skills: MS Excel, Google Sheets - Proficiency a MUST Certification on the PROCORE platform Read and comprehend Architectural Plans & Shop Drawings Ability to meet deadlines General knowledge of Stone/ Tile Industry and curiosity to learn more! Ability to communicate information from field (conditions, measurements, verifications) back to the PM/Main Office Qualifications: VERY ORGANIZED Bachelor's degree from an accredited University Ability and desire to work and learn AutoCAD experience A detail-oriented approach to tasks A natural problem-solver Principals only.
