Carpenter - Technician Needed for Home Modifications

Job Overview
Our home modification business creates safe and accessible homes for people with disabilities. We are seeking to hire an employee to install and repair stairlifts, ramps, grab bars, and other products for people with mobility challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install stairlifts, ramps, grab bars, railings, and other home modification products
- Assess homes for structural needs and ensure proper mounting and support of equipment
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, many of whom are older adults or individuals with mobility challenges
- Follow project specifications
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Keep accurate records of work performed and take pictures of each project
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of carpentry or home remodeling experience (accessibility product installation preferred)
- Experience with stairlift, ramp, or DME installations preferred
- Experience with basic hand and power tools required and ability to create wooden stair rails and stair platforms is essential.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Background check and valid drivers license required
- Willing to travel for training to our HQ located Randolph, NJ, and other vendor locations (paid for by company)
Other:
- Full-time, 40 hrs/wk. (part time considered)
- Training provided for stairlifts, ramp, grab bar and DME installation
- Company vehicle and tools provided

Compensation:
- Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
