Maintenance Mechanic
We are a leader in industrial manufacturing, home to two innovative divisions. Together we design and produce proprietary product lines, including:
o Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
o Thread rolling attachments
o Thread rolls and tooling
Were growing and looking for a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!
Summary:
Responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment in a machine shop setting, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and other production tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical issues in machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
Work with vendors for parts sourcing and technical support.
Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (vocational training or associates degree is a plus).
35 years of experience in machine maintenance (ideally in a manufacturing or machine shop environment).
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with CNC systems (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak etc.).
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Welding/fabrication experience is a bonus.
