Overview
As a Water Resources Engineer for Scheibe Consulting, LLC, you will perform hydrologic and hydraulic
analysis, general civil engineering design, cost analysis, conduct floodplain and drainage studies, and
watershed modeling. You will perform HandH modeling, engineering calculations and produce engineering
drawings on a variety of water resources related projects. You will interact with clients, contractors, and
eventually with local government officials. You will impact the whole project from conceptual through
design phases.
Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
Master's or PhD degree in water resources;
EIT in Texas (required);
CFM certification (preferred);
3+ years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas:
HandH, Stormwater Management and Drainage Design;
Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering cores and principles;
Working knowledge and understanding of local design codes and standards;
Prior internship or full-time experience in Civil/Environmental Consulting or with a Civil
Contractor (preferred);
Demonstrated experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGISpro, AutoCAD and HEC-MetVue;
Experience with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling;
Experience with Infoworks ICM and Civil3D (preferred)
