Welcome to Peterson Ag! We re hiring a Farm Equipment Operator to join our team in Monument, KS (about 10 miles west of Oakley). In this role you will be operating and maintaining farm and agriculture equipment for planting, spraying/fertilizing, and harvesting. Peterson Ag, located in Northwest Kansas, is a family-owned farming operation. We pride ourselves on efficiency and getting things done working as a team. We farm approximately 10,000 acres of corn, wheat, and sorghum. We also run 500-600 head of feeder cattle (Jan Aug). We offer competitive compensation of $50,000 - $80,000 based on experience, health, dental and vision, HSA, and bonuses. What you will be doing: Operate and maintain modern farm and agriculture equipment for planting, spraying/fertilizing, and harvesting. Perform mechanical work on equipment, including welding and fabrication. Assist in health and feeding programs for livestock, with accountability for their well-being. Ensure efficient and effective operations of daily tasks on the farm. Assist on any other farm duties that may arise. This job is for you if you have: Prior farm experience preferred. CDL or ability to obtain. Ability to obtain or currently hold a private applicator's license. Clean driving record is essential. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
