Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have effective problem-solving abilities, advanced mechanical experience, and a strong ability to multitask, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Swedesboro, NJ

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Shift: 7:00am-Finish OR 12:00pm- Finish

Climate: Refridgerated environment with temperatures between 34-45 degrees

What's the Job?

• Inspecting the building, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
• Performing minor building, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary.
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
• Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Planning and scheduling repairs while assisting with parts inventory.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma/GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance mechanic role
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and handle a physical workload.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
