Senior Project Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-family, mid-rise, high-rise, commercial, and some religious projects. This role involves overseeing project design, drawing production, coordination, and construction administration while mentoring junior staff and reporting to senior management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reviewing Department of Buildings objections, ensuring compliance with building codes, client preferences, and overall design intent. Proficiency in Revit is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project design and drawing production.
  • Coordinate and administer construction tasks.
  • Mentor junior staff and report to senior management.
  • Review Department of Buildings objections for compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes and client preferences.
  • Manage consultants, including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, expeditors, lighting, and acoustical experts.
  • Oversee construction administration tasks, including RFIs, ASIs, and drawing review submissions.
Essential Skills
  • 10-15 years of architectural experience.
  • At least 2 years managing NYC projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and 3D computer modeling software.
  • Familiarity with NYC Department of Buildings processes, building codes, and zoning.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in interior design is a plus.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with office days from Monday to Thursday and remote work from home on Fridays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.48 - $57.69/hr.
