The position of Architect will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and reporting on architectural drawings to ensure conformance with the clients standards and requirements.
Job Duties:
Create and review architectural plans for building code compliance, coordinate architectural plan changes, and respond to plan discrepancies and/or questions
Collaborate with technical teams to understand key project issues and integrate into relevant technical meetings
Understand and track all architectural reporting requirements
Identify trends and critical information for the project, and make connections between reports and architectural activity
Provide advice and assessment about architectural issues and options to achieve cost effective designs
Synthesize various inputs and types of information into easily digestible deliverables
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams as well as external stakeholders
Assess the needs of end-users, clients, and/or executive management alongside the Senior Project Manager and assist in the development of customized reports
Assist Senior Project Manager in managing the reporting process with all technical teams
Assist Senior Project Manager in managing various Project Controls processes
Distribute reports in a timely and organized manner for clients, lenders, executive management, and other required entities as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university
Masters Degree considered a plus
Minimum 6 years experience in architecture within the construction industry
Experience in delivery of design-build and/or P3 projects in both the pre- and post-award phases required
Experience working on projects valued at $1 billion+
Experience working on airport projects considered a plus
Strong all-around theoretical knowledge of architectural principles
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated qualities of leadership and hard work
Strong commitment to high standards, integrity, and ethics
Salaried position with a pay range of $100,000-$120,000 based on experience.
