- Lead mechanical engineering projects, providing technical guidance for solid design and execution.
- Plan and develop HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for healthcare and mission-critical spaces.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability practices.
- Maintain quality throughout projects and participate in peer reviews for high technical standards.
- Engage with clients as a technical partner to tailor solutions to their specific needs.
- Collaborate with business development to explore opportunities, especially in Atlanta and Carolina markets.
- Support proposal writing, client interviews, and presentations to showcase company strengths.
- Guide and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to align on best practices and contribute to leadership.
- Mechanical engineering expertise, with proficiency in mechanical design and Revit.
- Client communication and engagement skills, representing the company professionally.
- Over 10 years of mechanical engineering experience, with the ability to understand designs and delegate tasks.
- Project experience in healthcare, life sciences, and data centers.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in HVAC, mechanical, data center, plumbing design, and fire protection design.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility systems is essential.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or on track to obtain license in Georgia or the Carolinas.
- Experience leading complex mechanical projects from planning to construction.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and various engineering analysis software.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, energy codes, and healthcare environment design needs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for client interactions and team collaborations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in fast-paced settings.
The office is located in Atlanta, GA, with 10 employees based out of this location. There is flexibility to work remotely, with employees having the option to go in office Mondays and Thursdays, and occasional site visits to projects. The organization is employee-owned, with an ESOP program and a strong emphasis on team culture. Flexibility with scheduling allows for remote work with site visits as needed.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $175000.00/yr.-Employee Owned - ESOP Program-Very big on Team Culture
