Superintendent Position

Position Overview

This role plays a vital part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a site leader, youll take charge of the day-to-day construction activities for your assigned projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing on-site operations and coordinating the efforts of subcontractors
Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, owners, and trade partners
Supervising self-performed construction tasks
Managing requests for information (RFIs) and tracking key project data
Developing the project schedule and ensuring regular updates
Documenting progress with photos throughout the job
Preparing daily field reports in a timely and accurate manner
Ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and quality expectations
Reviewing submittals and shop drawings for coordination and accuracy
Supporting the Project Manager in pricing and evaluating scope changes
Leading safety practices and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols
Collaborating with the Project Manager to keep the project on track

What Were Looking For
At least 5 years of experience in commercial and/or retail construction
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Independent problem-solving skills guided by company standards and best practices
Sound judgment and a quick learner with a proactive mindset
Solid communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project is a plus
Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
