Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As an Industrial Press Mechanic, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes. You will utilize a broad range of tools to upgrade, maintain, and install equipment, contributing to the continued success and longevity of our operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manufacture production parts and implement equipment upgrades.
+ Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of parts.
+ Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule with accurate documentation.
+ Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
+ Cut and weld materials to repair broken parts, fabricate/machine new parts, or assemble new equipment.
+ Document repairs and maintenance performed.
+ Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
+ Read and interpret manufacturers' manuals to ensure correct installation or operation of machinery.
+ Adhere to all plant and OSHA procedures, performing duties safely and in compliance with all work and safety rules, as well as established work and industry practices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Strong skills in pneumatics (95%), hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
+ Weld, braze, and cut using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxygen/Acetylene torch.
+ Experience with machine tooling, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe installation, chiller plants, and waste systems.
+ Capability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting pneumatics and hydraulics.
+ Experience with the installation of copper, black pipe, PVC, or groove lock piping.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $85000.00/yr.
