We are a well-established residential remodeling company based in Northern Lake County, Illinois, seeking a skilled and reliable remodeling carpenter to join our team as an independent contractor. We specialize in high-quality interior and exterior renovations throughout the Gurnee, Grayslake, Lindenhurst, and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a contracted remodeling carpenter, you'll be expected to bring your expertise and craftsmanship to a variety of home improvement and remodeling projects. Youll work closely with our team on residential job sites, helping bring our clients visions to life.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge and experience in framing, trim work, window and door installation, and deck construction

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans

Capable of performing accurate measurements, cuts, and layouts

Experience in both rough and finish carpentry

Punctual, professional, and able to work independently or with a crew

Must maintain a clean and safe work environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with local building codes and general best practices
