Our Savannah, GA facility is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated, safety-focused Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

As an Electrical Technician, you will: 

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
• Maintain and service programmable controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), VFDs, and electrical panels
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
• Use technical documentation and test instruments to identify and resolve electrical issues
• Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis for equipment reliability
• Collaborate with operations to ensure consistent production uptime

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a four-year electrical apprenticeship OR minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial electrical role
• Strong troubleshooting ability and working knowledge of PLCs and DCS systems
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial electrical standards
• Must be available for after-hours call-out rotation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills  

Bonus Skills: 

• SAP experience (work orders, BOMs, part locations)
• Proficiency with electrical test instruments: multimeters, meggers, calibrators, etc.
• Basic understanding of SCADA systems, automation principles, and controls 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

• Regular exposure to mechanical parts, heights, temperature changes, and loud environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50–60 lbs and work in various physical positions including kneeling, climbing, and crouching
• Requires use of PPE and adherence to Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, and other safety protocols
• This position is day shift, but future shift work may be required
