Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Forklift Operator for a company based in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to Automation Personnel Services seeks a hard-working and dependable Forklift Operator someone who operates a forklift with a lifting capacity of 10,000 pounds.

Pay Rate
$16.00/20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction materials and equipment from trucks and storage areas.

• Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.

• Assist in the preparation of materials for upcoming construction projects.

• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient workflow and communication.

Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
5 Years of experience
For a 10,000-pound forklift, experience operating forklifts of similar capacity is a significant advantage.
Important for ensuring accuracy and preventing accidents.
Ability to maintain body balance while ascending/descending the forklift and when maneuvering.
