Are you a hands-on Construction Manager with Industrial Electrical Experience- looking for a field role? THE RIGHT STAFF is supporting a growing Renewable Energy Company that is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead project sites for Electrical and Solar Installation Projects.
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of foreman or construction manager experience at a similar level - including experience managing projects with budgets of $5M +, and crews of 15-20 members. Candidates should have the proper journeyman license for their state of residence.
This role will report to the Fields Operations Manager, and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project construction from start to finish. This includes overseeing supervisor's and crew teams, managing project budget, deliverables, and regulatory details.
This role will travel 100% of the time - Company vehicle, gas card, and credit card will be provided. A valid Driver's License is required.
Candidates should be local to the Midwest area. The company is headquartered in the Twin-Cities - Minnesota metro area, and primarily supports projects in Illinois, and surrounding states.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a Foreman or Construction Manager for Electrical or Solar Projects.
Experience with a similar scope of projects ($5M+ projects) and overseeing teams of 10+ members
Background in Solar, substations, large electrical, civil construction, or other industrial construction required.
Should have hands-on experience in Electrical Projects, and have a valid Journeyman license for their state of residence.
Must have strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
Must have experience working cross functionally with their company - partnering across departments to manage projects.
Ability to travel 80-100% of the time
Valid Driver's License Required
Professional Certifications in construction management are preferred.
