We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tractor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural machinery, particularly tractors. The Tractor Mechanic will work on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other components to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair tractor issues: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in tractors and other farm equipment.
Routine maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on tractors, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
Engine work: Repair or replace faulty engine components, such as pistons, valves, and gaskets.
Hydraulic and electrical systems: Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and battery components.
Parts replacement and repairs: Order and replace worn or damaged parts and components.
Testing and inspection: Conduct thorough tests of repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service history.
Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Customer service: Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and provide recommendations for equipment care.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a tractor mechanic or in a similar role (minimum of [X] years).
In-depth knowledge of tractor engines, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.

Experience working with a variety of tractor brands and models.
Familiarity with farm equipment beyond tractors, such as harvesters or plows.
Basic welding or metalworking skills.
