**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and industrial maintenance, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves working on-site (travel required) to maintain, fabricate, and troubleshoot various electrical components and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform field service tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Utilize AutoCAD for designing and modifying electrical schematics as needed.
- Conduct industrial maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain and troubleshoot distributed control systems (DCS) for optimal operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Work with hydraulics and high voltage systems safely and effectively.
- Program and troubleshoot logic controllers to enhance system functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom electrical solutions based on project requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in field service or a similar role within the electrical industry.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting electrical designs, material take offs from drawing schematics.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices related to electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Automation control systems is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience working with Three phase 208-480, Controllers, VFD's, Load Cells, and high voltage systems is a plus.
- Understanding of logic controllers and their programming is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Expected hours: 40 -- 60 per week
- Travel requirements: out of town work is required!
