Industrial Painter-1st Shift (Gainesville)

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter

(Structural Steel)to join our team.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a warehouse environment. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various products.

**Duties:**

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.

- Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers while ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications.

- Conduct inspections of painted surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of coatings.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, always adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.

- Experience with structural steel painting is beneficial but not required.

- Knowledge of materials handling practices within a warehouse setting is advantageous.

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities are essential.

- Mechanical knowledge is important for operating equipment safely and effectively.

**Pay Rate**

$17 - $18 per hour

Our jobs are physically demanding and must be able to walk, stand, stoop, squad, reach, kneel, crawl, twist, and lift objects from 10 to 50 lbs for no specific time.
