Job Description
Constructs, repairs and maintains fixtures, furniture, structural woodwork, interior and exterior masonry, etc., using hand and/or power tools.
Job Responsibility
- Performs repairs, replaces and maintains building and masonry to interior and exterior of building, using both hand and power tools.
- Repairs furniture, equipment, and machinery.
- Installs and repairs minor electrical equipment and lighting fixtures.
- Performs minor plumbing jobs.
- Repairs roofs, roads, sidewalks and interior and exterior stairs and steps.
- Makes minor repairs to heating, air conditioning and ventilating equipment.
- Makes minor repairs to ice machines, and refrigerators.
- Performs fire alarm panel and fire protection equipment operation as needed.
- Flexible for shift coverage and changes as required.
- Performs daily maintenance work order assignment in the assigned areas and locations.
- Performs daily equipment rounds and other inspections as assigned.
- Performs emergency repairs as needed. Communicates these repairs with Director of Plant Operations.
- Completes all required paperwork and logs, including work orders and daily time report, etc.
- Assists in removal of snow. Serves as a member of the Fire Response Team and responds to emergencies.
- Answer trouble calls (I.E. - lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and other areas.)
- Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience.
- Ability to use tools related to the carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and mechanical trades. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
- Valid Driver's license, required.
