Description

Air Masters is a well established commercial HVAC company looking for an experiencedLicensed HVAC Mechanic. We service Southeastern MA and RI. Our company services and installs and maintains all makes and models of HVAC equipment. This position will be mostly service, it will also include installations of RTUs, Heat Pumps and VRF equipment. Pay will be based on experience and certifications. This position has a significant amount of prevailing wage work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum 3 years commercial HVAC service experience

Minimum 3 years HVAC system installation experience

Motivated and enjoy working in the HVAC industry

Journeyman refrigeration license in either MA or RI

Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

EPA universal certification

Valid driver's license

Must possess hand tools

Good communication skills

High school diploma

Skills in controls installation and troubleshooting or a willingness to learn

MA or RI Refrigeration (Preferred)

Work Environment:

This position requires the employee to work both inside and outside. The employee may be subject to loud noises and hot and cold temperatures while on work site.

Positions Type and Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Travel:Daily travel to job sites throughout MA and RI

Physical Demands:

Lifting weight up to and over 75 lbs. in both a vertical and horizontal range of motion.

Crawl, stoop, stand, reach (push/pull) & bend to perform necessary work.

Able to ascend and descend on extension ladders, step ladders and stairs using feet and/or hands and arms.

Able to drive a company vehicle and walk around at job sites.

Reading, computer input, typing and answering the phone.

Clarity of vision at both over 20 feet and under 20 inches.

Able to judge depth (distance & space relationships), have a good field of vision, and identify and distinguish colors.

Adjustment of eye to bring object into sharp focus.
