Project Engineer - Bridges & Transportation

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer with strong experience in bridge design to join our growing infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in structural engineering, a passion for delivering high-quality transportation solutions, and a desire to grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the design of highway and railway bridge projects from concept through final design.

• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, plans, and specifications in compliance with state DOT, and local agency standards.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineers.

• Oversee junior staff and review work to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to project goals.

• Conduct site visits, inspections, and respond to construction-phase questions or issues.

• Interface with clients and participate in project meetings and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 4+ years of relevant bridge design experience.

• PE license or EIT preferred

• Proficiency with structural analysis software

• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
