Job Title: Senior Estimator – Heavy Highway & Bridge

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Estimator to lead our estimating efforts on heavy highway and bridge construction projects . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 10 + years in civil estimating, strong leadership capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of industry-standard software. This role plays a key part in shaping competitive bids and ensuring project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for large-scale civil infrastructure projects.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and schedules to determine scope and requirements.

• Manage and mentor junior estimators and provide technical guidance.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors during the preconstruction phase.

• Perform risk analysis and value engineering to enhance bid competitiveness.

• Maintain current knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience estimating heavy highway and bridge projects .

• Proficient with HCSS HeavyBid , Bluebeam , and AutoCAD .

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Experience with DOT and municipal infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with scheduling and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
