**Job Description**

The Yard Forklift Operator is responsible for handling raw materials, ensuring proper storage, and loading materials for production. This role involves operating heavy equipment, maintaining the yard area, and assisting with plant operations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a forklift and other heavy equipment to transport materials safely.

+ Ensure raw materials are properly received, stored, and loaded for production.

+ Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment and keep the yard organized.

+ Conduct quality checks and complete required documentation.

+ Keep equipment and plant site clean, including washing machinery and removing debris.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in general labor, forklift operation, production, construction, inventory, and material handling.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment safely.

**Work Environment**

The position involves outdoor work with exposure to dust. You will be in close proximity to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs., carry 50 lbs., and push/pull 100 lbs. Physical activities include sitting, walking, standing, climbing, and kneeling throughout the day.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
