Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Facilities Supervisor.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do:
Manages all facility maintenance and janitorial functions. Respond to reports of structural, safety, security, environmental, and general maintenance type issues. Communicates with all stakeholders to ensure that working conditions are satisfactory. Utilizes common sense, observes workplace safety and appropriate PPE practices at all times, and ensures that tasks are completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. Implements company Environmental Safety and Health programs/practices within company groups ensuring environmental and safety compliance and adherence to company ES&H goals and objectives. Ensures that workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standard provisions and that all required records are prepared and maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set standards for Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program and monitor performance.
- Utilize PM tracking system for all production equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Manage multiple, simultaneous facilities projects.
- Evaluate, select, and manage facilities, maintenance, & building contractors.
- Track utility usage, recommend and implement conservation measure and ensure billing accuracy. Establish and promote savings initiatives.
- Recommend, design, and implement changes that improve efficiency, productivity, capacity, and safety for the facility.
- Develop, update, and manage Maintenance and Facilities budget.
- Participate in negotiations for capital project expenditures and communicate to Management Team.
- Assure all related government filings are current, accurate, and comply. The agencies include, but are not limited to the DEC, EPA, ADT, Town of Orchard Park, Orchard Park Police and Fire Department, etc.
- Responsible for hazardous waste disposal, shipping, preparation, and storage as a small RCRA generator.
- Conducts in-house training where applicable for maintenance team and implements safety regulations and programs as a member of the Safety Committee.
- Manages Maintenance and Cleaning Teams by setting priorities, assigning responsibilities, and conducting Individual Development Plans (IDP) for employee growth.
- Ensure that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
- Maintain and make regular improvements to our facility as needed to uphold the standards of our manufacturing expertise.
- Institute regular improvements for safety, health, and environment to ensure compliance and future growth in ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution OR Miliatary Experience in Lieu of a degree OR Associates Degree AND A minimum of 10 years of professional facilities/maintenance experience
- A minimum of 3 years of professional facilities/maintenance experience, within a manufacturing environment.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.
- All Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
- Relocation is not provided. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Eaton's Orchard Park, NY facility.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field of study or Facilities Management preferred.
Ability to communicate both written and verbally.
Considerable knowledge and experience of HVAC, electrical, building and grounds, and maintenance and equipment repair.
Knowledge of various Federal, State, County, and Local codes and regulations involving construction, environment, fire, safety, sanitation, and recycling.
Knowledge of computer systems - CAD, PM, and Microsoft office systems.
3 - 5 years of experience in the operation of a 92,000 square foot facility or larger that operates 24/7.
Ability to lead and educate not only maintenance team, but employees throughout facility to deal with frequent change, delays, and unexpected issues to meet customer demands.
