Job Summary
As a Core Prep Team Member, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that all parts are prepared efficiently and effectively for subsequent manufacturing stages. This position requires dedication to quality, safety, and teamwork while contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties
+ You will operate various power tools to accurately breakdown components, including removing screws, labels, and other attachments from parts to prepare them for production.
+ The de-casing process involves loading, operating, and efficiently unloading the decasing machines to ensure readiness for the next steps.
+ Utilizing sandblast machines will be part of your duties where you will load and hold components for sandblasting, followed by using an air gun for finishing touches.
+ You'll engage in the slurry process, where you will load and hold parts in the slurry machine and verify the parts are dried properly using air guns.
+ Operating the water jet machine will be crucial for shaping parts, requiring precision and attention to detail.
+ Removing parts from printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies will involve using de-soldering tools and solder pots, demonstrating your technical skills in salvaging components.
+ Your painting responsibilities will include preparing and applying paint to the parts with spray equipment, ensuring high-quality finishes.
+ Washing components involves scrubbing them with solutions to remove any residues or contaminants.
+ Detail-oriented scraping tasks will include using hand scrapers to ensure all labels and excess materials are removed from parts, contributing to quality assurance.
+ You will actively participate in team-led improvement activities aimed at enhancing processes and efficiency in the core preparation area.
